It is our immense pleasure to share with our Bhutanese Communities members across the globe that Global Bhutanese Organization-GBO is holding its Annual Convention in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and the event is being hosted by the Bhutanese Community in Harrisburg (BCH) from Nov 26 through Nov 27, 2021. On this auspicious occasion, the GBO & State host organizing committee would like to jointly invite our fellow community members to participate in this scheduled community event.

Global Bhutanese Organization-GBO is a collective organization of Bhutanese communities in different countries globally. It is formed by Bhutanese resettled in several countries with an idea to serve needy people based on the urgency of their situation. It is currently active in nine countries, viz: Australia, Canada, Denmark, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, the United Kingdom, and the United States. GBO is registered under section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States and Public Charity Status IRC section 509 (A) (2). GBO will remain likewise as a non-profit in each country of operation under the same principle, working independently at their own convenience. GBO is a common platform for all the Bhutanese across the globe for charitable works.

The objective of organizing this event is for Fund Raising for Refugee Children Education, Nutrition, & Healthcare, GBO Annual Reporting, Project Presentation, Financial Update, GBO Countries, States, and City Updates, Honoring, & many more.

The GBO event that is happening in Harrisburg is one of our endeavors to add more funds to support the children back in the camps in Nepal.

GBO profoundly appreciates the elegant move and support of all donors and partnering organizations that will help tremendously in providing learning opportunities to our small children back in the refugee camps. We are confident that you know the souls of those little angels in the camps are filled with joy from your graceful acts of support. Thus, we want to continue the works that enable the angels to dream big.

In collaboration with Bhutanese Communities in Australia, Canada, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Nepal, the United Kingdom, and the United States, GBO has been facilitating financial supports to provide learning opportunities to our children residing in the Bhutanese refugee camps in Nepal since last one-year 2020.

GBO is thankful to BCH to be part of this event in supporting GBO’s mission and objectives as we share a common ideology as a charitable and humanitarian organization. Thus, on behalf of the GBO team and host organization, we would like to cordially invite our fellow Bhutanese community members to this upcoming GBO Convention 2021.
